He is the past President of the Conasauga Bar Association and was a member of the Leadership Dalton-Whitfield Class of 2005. He likewise served as Board Chairman of the Dalton-Whitfield Daycare Center and Vice-Chairman of the Dalton-Whitfield Hospital Authority. He presently serves as the local Regional Coordinator of the High School Mock Trial Competition held each year in Dalton, Georgia.

    Sam joined the firm after graduating from the Tulane University School of Law in 2004. At Tulane Sam tried several civil and criminal trials to verdict in both State and Federal Court. In his final year at Tulane, Sam was inducted into the Order of Barristers, a National Honor Society recognizing the top oral advocates in each graduating class.
