Normally they ask you what name you prefere to go by and you just tell them your other name.. My friend did the same thing, she was called Stephanie but prefered to be called Katie, all she did was approach employers and teachers and explain that she would rather be refered to as Katie as she felt that to be her name, despite all her legal documents saying Stephanie, everyone I know calls her Katie. :)

How would you quit a job the polite way?

Wow, I have never heard of this happening. What did they spend three hours doing? Title searches don't take that long if you have a good paralegal.. . When I've bought houses, the lawyers didn't usually engage until 5 days before the closing.. . I once had a lawyer review a contact to buy a house, but that was a free consultation - took him 10 minutes to say was a standard contact. And I think I spent 15 minutes judging his character before I engaged him. Since the deal didn't happen, I know I didn't pay him.. . So, what does she say she spent three hours on?

. About 4 years ago I had spinal surgery for my severe scoliosis problem, (my spine was severely curved)...So bad the it looked like an 'S'. It's still curved but not as bad as before. I'm 17 now and I have a job...problem is that my job is really bad. I have to stand in one spot for about 5 hours, and at first I used to get pains here and there, but then they would go away eventually. Well, it's been about a month and my back pains are getting worse....My back is really stiff and sore.....also, my left leg gets numb sometimes....could these pains be from standing too long or from the fact that I have scoliosis?. . And do you have any adive on how to minimize the pain?. . Please help .
