Basically, I think you have to use your legal name for official government stuff. Since you been using your married name, that's your legal name now. You can go to court to change your name, they almost always approve it if you have a half-good reason.. . You can use practically any name you want for non-government stuff. But the bank needs your legal name for reports to the IRS.

I was your answer you picked before, and wanted to add to that.. . The will isn't just for if you die, it would cover things in any emergency. You could also give that step mom power of attorney. This is something I had to do while deployed in the Navy. The big problem is what the child"s father has to say. .

This older adult is on fix gov't income unable/ unwilling to pay . consequently he is barraged with tele calls threatening him. how can he get these call stopped, also he used his friends tele number as referance and now he is getting mess all the time asking for the older adult How can he stop the collectors form calling without changing tele numbers. who do you write a cease and desist letter to when they call and only leave a tele number bankcrupcy is not a option financially.
