For most companies, they request 2 weeks notice. All you have to do is write a letter saying "Dear (Manager's Name, doesn't have to include last name) I am officially putting in my two weeks notice." Then add maybe 3-4 sentences on what you have gained from working there. It does not have to be anything fancy.

The easiest way was for you to file the paperwork in your husband's name because when you're issued your SSN after being approved, it will be issued in the name your applied with. You're going to have to wait until after you receive your green card.

okay so i'm really quite confused, about what i have to do, it may sound really easy but i'm so stuck, can someone please help me, by an example or something? it would be much appreciated if you could.

My greatgrandfather ran away from home at 16 so nobody knows anything about my family. My grandpa died a few years ago and my dad doesn't knoe any more than I do and I want to know all about my family. My grandmas family history is recorded as well as both sides of ny mother's family. But I don't know anything about my own. (Last name family?) How do I or how can I find out about our family tree?.

i dont personally like my name, but changing it 'legally' is a little extreme... do you think names can really be changed by doing it legally, or that the name you were given is your 'real' name..?. i just feel its like your trying to be someone else or something... . and sheloves: well duhh i know you change your name when you get married, im not talking about through marriage...

I had an uncle who moved to New Zealand from UK in the early 1900s - where can i find record of him moving there or from when he was there (census'/marriages/deaths).
