if you leave your estate to a trust, discretionary or otherwise, and leave your solicitor as executor, how likely is it that he will follow your wishes? After all, if its "discretionary" cant s/he just decide what s/he wants to do with it since s/he is Trustee? Could he actually just decide to dish out masses to himself since there is no one else to "check up" on him as Trustee? thanks. .
