Does anyone know how to apply for a DNR (do not resuscitate) order and how should one go about applying for it

If the power of attorney is a "durable" power of attorney and has been drafted and validly executed according to the laws of the jurisdiction in which your father is or was a resident, you should be able to use it for the purposes stated in the power of attorney without any involvement by the Courts. The "durable" nature of a POA means that it's validity continues after the grantor of the POA becomes incompetent. If, however, the POA was revoked by your father while he was competent or if your father was not competent when he signed it, the POA may not be valid. To be sure, you need to speak with a local lawyer, show him or her the POA, and explain the facts and circumstances about its preparation and execution. If it is, for whatever reason, invalid, then you may need to petition for guardianship over your father. Talk to a lawyer about these options.

See, I have a problem over here regarding English letter writing. A letter to your LANDLORD complaining about the problems of the house like roof leaking, plaster wearing off will be formal or informal. Please this is serious and I need accurate and correct answers..

nothing but problems because they think I am hispanic but I am an American I was married to hispanic man but we are no longer together but I cant afford a divorce can I work under that name and get the card that says Becky Duncan again?.

In my opinioin, health care is a service like education and should operate in a manner that it is profitable and does not deny any persons in need of the service.. . Anyways let me get back on topic. In making a public plan, he plans to indirectly force people to have some sought of healthcare so that everyone will be paying into the system in some type of way. Thereby relieving the cost for those few with health insurance. Now, a hospital can not deny anybody treatment and nobody can deny the health care system a payment even if its small, atleast its something. Also, if people have health care then they will be more willing to go to the doctor before things go horrifically wrong. Thereby , lowering the debt of the individual, the time and care provided to that individual by physicians, the overall cost of healthcare and the number of critically ill individuals in our society. More healthy society will breed a better working society. . Also, i believe he intends to cut healthcare administrative costs by making records electronic. So, it seems his whole agenda is to control costs and spread the availability of health care services to americans regardless of income.. . WHAT I WOULD DO TO TRULY REFORM THE SYSTEM. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------. . I am totally for a universal health care system because health should be a service when it comes to health needs and dental services. Drug companies, cosmetic surgeons and others can remain in that industry mindset but doctors and care givers should not be in a business mindset, its unethical. Do away with the health insurance companies because they are not the one's helping our medical industry become great, they actually may be causing corruption. I do not know of any insurance company that funds research or education in the medical field but guess what, the government does. . In a Universal health system everybody that can pay will pay. The payments will be set depending on how the numbers crunch out, I don't have the info to do the numbers but the costs should be fairly reasonable for both sides payer and those in giving services. It won't be ridiculous like $10/person/month or or $3,000/person/month, hopefully a number in between will do the job, closer to 10 than 3000. I will agree with Obama in making records electronic to cut costs.. . Also, if you think about the domino effect of a Universal health insurance, other insurance costs will decrease. Home and Auto insurance costs include medical cost. That cost will be erased due to the fact that most, if not everybody, is already covered medically. Therefore, insurance companies need to only worry about covering property and inconvenience costs. So insurance companies will not be put out of business but their focus will be redirected. Now no matter how or why an individual ends up needing medical services they will be covered and paying an affordable price.. . TOO BAD UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO COME ABOUT IN THIS COUNTRY AT THIS TIME BECAUSE PEOPLE DO NOT TRUST THE GOVERNMENT. Which is understandable because we've become less involved in our go
