• Zachary J. Shepard joined Glickman & Glickman after graduating from UCLA School of Law. His practice focuses on the representation of individuals who have suffered harm in California - whether by physical injury, workplace discrimination, underpayment of wages due or wrongful termination. He also represents victims of elder abuse, and whistle-blowers who have discovered fraud against our government. Mr. Shepard has successfully prosecuted cases to recovery of over $7 million in settlements and verdicts for his clients in actions for personal injury, premises and products liability, medical malpractice, elder abuse, breach of privacy, employment discrimination, wrongful termination, and wage and hour violations.

  Mr. Shepard graduated from UCLA School of Law in 2005 with a J.D., and a certificate in Critical Race Studies. During law school, Mr. Shepard externed for the Hon. Gary Klausner at the United States District Court in Los Angeles in 2003. He then volunteered at Bet Tzedek - The House of Justice in Los Angeles as a law clerk during his second year of law school, primarily working on behalf of low wage earners and the disabled. His 2005 article, Understanding Lawrence v. Texas after Fifty Years of Brown v. Board of Education, was published in the Dukeminier Awards Journal. Mr. Shepard graduated with highest honors from UC Berkeley in 1997, earning the Departmental Citation for most outstanding undergraduate accomplishment in pursuit of his B.A. in Sociology. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mr. Shepard worked in the restaurant business, starting as a dishwasher at age 15 and later managing restaurants in his home town of San Francisco.

  Mr. Shepard is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Associations of Los Angeles and California, the California Employment Lawyers Association, and the American Bar Association, and was a 2005 American Board of Trial Advocates fellow. He is also involved in local political and charity organizations, and is active as an alum of the UCLA School of Law.
