lawyer Thomas R. Beveridge - Bechtelsville, PA Reviews

Hi, I own a small business that after only 12 months trading, we have achieved very good results and extraordinary perspectives for growth although the dimension is still very small. The option is now either to continue as we are (good but slow growth because of lack of investment) or we receive an injection of cash to accelerate the process, although the problem in this case would be that, because our business is so small, the necessary investment would be too much for it. We have now been approached for somebody that has apparently lots of business experience and contacts and we've been holding meetings to discuss a possible cooperation. His profile is in the financial sector with Angel investors. Although I have some business experience, this is the first potential investor/partner I ever talked to so I need your opinion: a)Is it common that the third party speaks about the great deals he's been into but cannot give details because of confidentiality? I feel uncomfortable because of that. Should I believe everything he says without any proof? b) His plans of growth and marketing don't seem to be very developed, is that important or as long he puts money is fine? c) some friends working in banking say that you need to negotiate not only a share of profit but also a salary. This guy said that if we ask for that we were 'looking for a job', who is right? d) I'd like to see figures on how the growth will produce greater returns but he seems to be a bit diffuse or weak on that, is that normal? I expected the investor/partner to be all the time with a calculator in hand but he is not like that, e) He says that our company is too small for investors (I know that) so this would be a 'transition stage'. I gather he wants to be a partner but I don't understand why he doesn't say that. f) Finally, if he is not a trustable investor/partner, why on Earth he must be willing to waste all this time in meetings? In short, am I too suspicious, are all the investors like that when dealing with small businesses? Any idea of how this works? Many thanks.

I'm farely ok at designing website, but when it comes forms and CGI scripts, i just don't get how they work or how to modify them, can anyone suggest a good cgi script and give me a bullet proof breakdown how to modify it and get it working on a test website page? just so i can create the simpliest of feedback forms?.

There are many different types of order forms, but not one that you can just drop onto a web site without knowing what you're doing. You'll have to understand the language(s) it's written in so you can integrate it into what you already have. You'll also have to know what kind of site you're running on so you know how it sends email.

trust me on a personal trainer salary you will be not be living in the "best parts of California". I doubt Jillian Michaels can afford the "best parts of California".. . Southern California has an ABUNDANCE of personal trainers. A few can command good hourly rates $80-200 per hour... but the vast majority are earning $15 an hour working about 20 hours a week, as independent contractors = when you take out taxes thats about $11000 a year.
