• McNamee Hosea, Attorneys and Advisors, (McNamee, Hosea, Jernigan, Kim, Greenan & Lynch, P.A.), was founded as McNamee & Hosea, P.A. in 1982. The founders had been partners in the law firm of Beatty and McNamee (Hyattsville, Maryland) which Mr. McNamee co-founded in 1955.

  At its inception in 1982, the firm concentrated in the areas of tax and corporate law (Mr. Hosea) and probate and real estate law (Mr. McNamee). Mr. Kim, who represents clients in the purchase and sale of businesses, joined the firm in 1985.

  By 1988, McNamee Hosea had grown to a firm of seven attorneys. On December 1, 1988, it merged with Milton Jernigan and Associates, P.A., a corporate firm founded in 1982. This merger increased the firm to ten attorneys and expanded its expertise into the areas of franchise law and banking law.

  Following the merger, Mr. Milton D. Jernigan, II was added as a named principal. Since that time, Mr. John P. Lynch and Mr. Garth E. Beall have been named as principals in the firm.

  In January, 2002, McNamee Hosea merged with the Greenbelt offices of Greenan, Walker, and Billman bringing on two new partners, James M. Greenan and Thomas E. Walker (Billman is currently practicing in Annapolis at Trainor, Billman, Bennett & Milko LLP.). ?Mr. Greenan's areas of expertise include bankruptcy, corporate and federal civil litigation, while Mr. Walker's areas of expertise include personal injury, wrongful death, product liability, medical malpractice and legal malpractice, providing an even more diverse practice to better serve their clients.

  From 2006 to 2009 the firm added five more principals to the firm's roster: Kevin M. Tracy (2006, Construction Litigation and Counseling), Mark W.
