If it was reduced to a judgment, the plaintiff has 5 years. After that initial 5 year period, the plaintiff may extend for an additional 5 years by filing what is known as a writ of revival. However, that is the limitation for FILING the action, not collecting the judgment. The law does not require that they collect the judgment within 10 years only that they file an action to collect the judgment in 10 years. If they garnish your wages by $20/ month, their ability to collect their judgment does not go away after 10 years.. . The plaintiff has 5/10 years to take such action to collect their judgment. The power of a judgment permits a court to rescind contracts and cancel deeds. The prothonotary will automatically record the judgment in the index in your county putting an automatic lien on your house or other real property in your county of residence.

As an employer who reads a lot of horrible cover letters, I agree that cover letters make me crazy. I don't have a template, but I'll tell you what I see all the time. Please do not make your cover letter sound like a form letter. It is so obvious when people have a one-size-fits-all cover letter that they just cut and paste the company's name. It is very aggravating, and especially bad when it's got the wrong company in there! Another aggravating example is when people say something like, I really want to work for a large multinational firm like yours (when we are a small business). Say something about what interests you about that job or that company, and then a few things about how your experience would fit there. Don't make it too long, and don't make it just a repeat of your resume.

I am looking for a website or a program where I can make a booklet that I could just print and staple. I need it to be free. If there's a template for something like that I use Open Office. I really just need it to be something I can type and print and Xerox if necessarry. Any ideas? Its for a gift.. . Thanks in advance!.
