It's fine, you will get it soon. The USPS is pretty slow. I ordered xmas gifts for my family at another address on De. 12. They didn't arrive till Jan. 7. I know the holidays were busy but, sheesh! you should have your package sometime this week.

Pardons come in degrees. It might only restore rights (voting rights, for example) or expunging of records after a sentence is completed. It might commute a sentence not already completed. It might cancel prosecution of a crime before prosecution begins. The President decides what degree of pardon to grant.

Have any of you had experience changing your name after domestic partnership registration in California? On the form, there is a spot that allows for a new middle and last name to be adopted by both parties. This is supposedly all that is required, and you can go to the DMV, SSA, and passport agency and make the changes.. . Can anyone confirm this is enough? I entered a registered domestic partnership in January, however I have sense moved to North Carolina. Does this make a difference? Regardless of if they recognize the partnership, it is still a certified legal document authorizing/ordering a name change.. As I understand it is legal in California, and social security will accept it. However, do other states have to take it? For instance, the SSA office in North Carolina, can they reject it while California SSA office accepts it? Same for DMV and passport?.

If you have had some sort of pivotal moment in your life, that you remember, the build up to it, the time of year etc those are usually easiest to provide vivid description. Some thing like your first kiss, or some thing like Bill Cosby's chicken heart, where he was so scared as a child that he smeared jello all over the living room so chicken heart couldn't get him. Or if you're making it up, place yourself in a Bayou with an uncle or auntie learning how to rope swing or fish for and skin catfish. Tom Sawyer like, or the time your siblings told you that you were adopted or tied you to a tree and left you there or you did it to some other guys. Or how you were on a soccor team and only won one game and that was the last one. Or take a movie theme and make it yours, into the jungle to rescue someone. Or how your Missionary relative gave his/her life and the letters you received. Sounds to me like the narrative essay is more about getting you to practice description. To make those word pictures as vivid as possible. You could even take a famous plot and make it a personal narrative, like Romeo and Juliet or Hamlet. Stories of mythology, Pandora, Atlas, Sysiphus are good ones. Do a narrative about a Fire Fighter or Rescue swimmer or drug dog handler. Use one of your favorite books as a template and put yourself into the plot. The Hobbit is a good fantasy story in which description is essential, some think the land that was created was inspired and genius. Never hurts to copy genius in order to bring out your own. . Lets see...other topics to create a story, could be a race you wanted to win and trained for, the cause you stood for against lots of odds, the girls you followed but never spoke to, the gang you belong to and what happens, a trip to a fun park where you had fun for the first time on a roller coaster with your Dad or Mom or relative you didn't know well. Teachers tend to love those semi-touching coming of age and appreciation stories with ironic twists thrown in. You could do a rainbow description of several days, red days (hot...hot...hot), blue days (cool not much goin on), yellow (bright sunshiny but sometimes irritating) days, purple days etc... I guess I like that idea. Combined with the touching but with a little Ferris Buelher thrown in (if you know that movie). Good luck, you'll probably come up with some inspiration of your own, just use other ideas as your spring board.

Close by reiterating your interest in the job and letting the employer know how they can reach you and include your phone number and/or email address. Or bid directly for the job interview or informational interview and indicate that you will follow-up with a telephone call to set up an appointment at a mutually convenient time. Be sure to make the call within the time frame indicated.
