Call everyone you can think of and ask them what they are willing and/or financially able to donate. You'd be surprised what you can get people to donate. I helped get items for a fundraiser for the tsunami a few years ago. I stopped by my bank and they donated a $100 savings bond. Cardinal Fitness donated a year's membership as did the local YMCA. Ton's of restaurants donated gift certificates. Local artists may be willing to donate a piece of their art. If you live in or near a large city which has a professional sports team, go to their website and type in "charity" in the search bar. You should be able to find someone who works for the organization who can look into donating game tickets, or who can put you in touch with a company who may be willing to donate their sky box for a game. They probably will not be able to coordinate any signed merchandise. For that, check into a local sports memorabilia shop and see if they will donate anything.. . You could also try contacting a Hollywood acting agency. I have no idea how to go about doing that, but I'm sure you can search for a famous person's website, and see if there is a "to book a personal appearance" link. That will probably be their manager or agent. I'm not sure if it will work, but it's worth a shot.. . When you make calls, make sure you identify who you are and where the money is going. Be very flexible about picking the item up...make it as easy as possible for them to make the donation. Have a form letter ready in case they ask for something in writing. Most companies will donate knowing that they can write it off their taxes, but they need proof of what they donated to. If you can email, mail or fax them something then they will be more likely to make the donation.

How to revoke a durable power of attorney?

You would need to go to court and have a request to change your child's name, and get a new social security card for the child.

no, you do not have to change your last name on your papers as long as you intend to continue to be known by your maiden name. if you are going to be known by your husband's last name or called mrs (whatever his name is) then yes you also have to change your name on your legal papers.. . you do not have to do it immediately, but you cannot sign a check or a credit card purchase or drive legally, etc without having the proper name you intend to go by and be known by on your id, checking accounts, and credit cards in most states.

I want to buy a campervan in Germany. I would like to know the specifics involved for a British purchaser regarding obtaining (and maintaining) their equivalent of road tax and MOT. If anyone can advise on a good insurance company, then that info would be appreciated too. The vehicle would leave Germany immediately upon purchase, but will never enter the UK. Many thanks..

How did you change your name? Was the name change done through a court? Was the name change because of marriage?. . Normally you would not be required to change any current documents that are in force. They would run their course after which you would enter any new legal contracts with your new name.. . If you are changing names on the property deeds then you would simply find and call a local title company to change the current name on the deed to your new name. The title company would tell you of any documents you would need to accomplish this. There is a fee for the title companies services.. . Please use a title company and not a lawyer as a lawyer could not guarantee a title. I see individual here all the time suggesting a person contact a lawyer. Attorneys are good for what they do, but changing a title deed is not their strong suite.
