First of all thank you for answering my question.. I'm in such a rush... I am applying for graduate schools in the States and I need my social security number (SSN). But the thing is that I only have my birth certificate and the Internet site of Social Security Offices or whatever they're called keeps failing on me.. I've looked all over the Internet and I haven't found anything that could answer my case. So the first thing that comes thru my mind is that I might have to contact the US embassy here in Korea. Would that work? Or is it much more complicated than that....

I know what a cover letter and a query letter is, but what's the difference? A literary agency ask for a cover letter and a query letter, but what's the difference? Are they the same? I'm having such trouble with this and I really don't want to screw this up all because I didn't know something. So please help!.

Where can I find examples of reference letters?

Power of Attorney or Custody of a friends child?

For a triplicate receipt book, which copy is given to customers?. . Top - white: original. Middle - yellow (duplicate). Bottom - pink (triplicate). . Besides the customer copy, what are the specific purposes of the remaining copies? Thanks!.

Well, i'm looking for my first job in... 6 years or so, recently finished university and had to move back home, which is driving me nuts. So I want to get a fairly ok job as quickly as possible.. . However there's my problem. I have my CV all nice and tidy, had several different people with different views of what a CV should be look over, and all agreed it was good.. . But I can't write a cover letter to go with it. Anything I write ends up sounding either big headed, stupid, or a mixture of the two and nothing sounds right. I honestly don't even know how to start it. Do i say I'm recently out of university? Do I go into details on why I think i'm suited to the job straight away or work towards it.. . Anything anyone can tell me would be greatly appreciated, or links to resources etc..
