  • OTHER ACTIVITIES

I serve as Treasurer of the Photograph Art & Science Foundation, which is organized as a S501(c)(3) “not for profit” and which has offices and a public museum in Oklahoma City known as the International Photography Hall of Fame and Museum.

I serve as Secretary of the Oklahoma Employment Law association (OELA), an association of lawyers with a major goal of sharing of new information as it evolves through speakers at monthly meetings and formal continuing legal education seminars for members and non-members.

    Background and Personal Injury

I first visited my wife’s family in McAlester over twenty three (23) years ago and I have a tremendous love for that area of the state and easily understand why my father-in-law (Richard L. Gossett) moved from Michigan to that area of the world to practice law over fifty (50) years ago.

At age 22 (in 1982) I started a photo supply business in Columbia Missouri and built it to nearly $1,000,000.00 in annual sales. I incorporated the business and brought in an investor in 1986 and later sold the business before moving with my wife to Oklahoma City for her to attend law school at Oklahoma City University.

I was employed by Candid Color Systems, Inc. as the Photographic Equipment buyer for several years while the Glamour Shots portrait studios were in a dramatic growth stage. I watched the number of stores grow from 65 to well over 300 with as 111 stores being opened during a single 12 month period.

Although there hasn’t been sufficient time to continue I was an active member of the Metro Camera Club in Oklahoma City for several years and continue to take photographs and utilize visual evidence every time the opportunity arises.

The vacation and mid-high residential real estate in much of south Florida and Southern Cal are in deep trouble...it could be another 2-3 years before the excess construction is absorbed... On the other hand, the high end residential and commercial RE in NYC/Manh. still looks pretty good (as of last week)...fair to say it really hasn't declined...yet...maybe it will not.. . Generally, I think the big boom areas that saw new construction reach all time highs are likely in for a multi-year correction with some nasty surprises likely yet to come (circa early 1990's Cali, late 1980's Dallas/Texas).. . The more general RE country wide madness depends a great deal on how bad the sub prime mess turns out and how much natural growth the area has to absorb the over-development....a year minimum, so to spring 2009.

In my attached resume you can find more information about me, including the experience of working with the equipment TRIMILL.

Most courts have forms, which are available from the clerk of the court. If the court doesn't use forms, then write a letter to the judge, starting off with what the court order was and how you think the other person violated it. Attach a copy of the order if you have one.. . But be aware that many judges are finicky about procedure, and if you don't file your petition the way they want, they may refuse to hear it at all. That's why you should consult with an attorney, even if only to get some kind of template or outline of what you need to say and how you need to say it.
