hey, 1st of all u dont have to make any envelope for both the letters. . In formal letters, u write ur address at the topmost right corner and then leave a space for the date, like this... . Flat no. 2C,. Green Park,. Kolkata-700036.. . 7th of January, 2006.. . Care should be taken to see that the starting of each line in the address begins from the same space from where the 1st line of the address began. Also there should be a comma at the end of each line, excepting the last one where there must be a full stop. The date should be written a line below the address and must end with a fullstop.. . Then leaving one line, the address to which the letter is being sent should be written, like... . The Editor,. The Hindustan Times,. Park Street-14,. Kolkata.. . Again it should be seen that the start of each line should be in a straight line, just like in ur address.. "To" should not be used, like... . To, . The Editor. . should be avoided at all costs... .
