I personally find it good therapy for you to reclaim some of yourself. I know that many women have real issues with not having the same name as their children. I have many 1/2 brothers and sisters from divorce and I have not heard of any of them complain when their parents names changed. After all, if you remarry someday, it will change again, right? My brother did note to me this weekend, that when he was forced to use a name other than our father's, it effected him badly, although our father didn't care, he was ashamed to tell him that his mother (the ex wife) was making him go by her new husbands name. He has kept his biological father's name by the way, but certainly, kids should not be forced to change names. For you, I think they will be just fine with it. Perhaps you could even ask their opinion too.. . I wish you well, divorces are hard things to go through....Good Luck

I want to make an invoice for my own record keeping and the companies. I did work for one day. Can I send them an invoice if I am not a business? is it illegal. I ask because the templates always say Business name, so can I just put my info there because I am not incorporated..

. When 'Yours faithfully' and when 'Yours sincerely' in a business letter?. When the recipient's name is unknown to you:

if you absolutely cannot manage to do so, then staple all the pages of the cover letter together.. . You can put both in an envelope (preferably without folding them, if you have an appropriate-sized envelope, but if you must, you must -- and that's fine).. . You can also Google business etiquette sites to get more information. Some really traditional folks will tell you never to staple anything, but most will say it's OK.

I'm thinking about writing a fan letter to an amazing television actor from the 60's.. . Any tips? He's 82 now, and I'm considerably younger than the kind of person who watched his shows (I'm 16).
