I think it's time to let this issue go. You've obviously gone on and done good things and have much to look forward to in the future. Why look back? Why let it fester all these years? It's not like you ended up in a dead end job and down on your luck. If you had gone to Stanford, you might be a completely different person today, aiming at a completely different life than the one you have now. Would it be better? Worse? Or simply different?

The other thing you need to consider is that if it's a management company, or anything that's any kind of formal business (Inc, LLC, etc), they are going to be far more likely to abide by your contract and the laws. This city was nice before and all these people are causing excessive stress on infrastructure. In 2005 it took me 12 mins to get to school and if I left at 8am, I arrived with plenty of time.
