My husband is in Army basic training. We had a baby about a month ago and I need to get the baby enrolled in Tricare...the woman I spoke to on the phone at the local ID office, said I needed a certain type of Power of Attorney to get the baby enrolled without my husband here. I have a "General Power of Attorney" that we got before he left for basic training, but the woman I spoke to said it has to state something along the lines of giving permission or something to enroll the baby.. Does anyone know what type of PoA I need? My husband is here for a few more days, since he's off for Christmas Exodus, so I need to get this done before he leaves. I can get the PoA notarized where my mom works, I just need to know what type of PoA I need.. Thanks in advance..

I'm an Australian looking to put together a weekly budget for my household. I do not know how to use Excel. Repeat: I DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE EXCEL and to be honest, I don't even really know how to do anything fancy on Word. I'm looking for a simple template to download for a weekly NOT a monthly budget, as I get paid weekly. Can anybody help?

I once read an article in which it was said that whenever a patient has blood drawn or a urine test or any other procedure in which some kind of "sample" or "specimen" is taken from the patient (particularly in regards to amputated limbs or body parts) there are no laws that definitely state whom the sample or specimen belongs to because once it is taken from the original owner, it is no longer his or hers, and essentially is considered trash. But, the doctor whom did the procedure and/or the entire medical facility (as a business) in which the procedure was carried out can take the "trash" ( very much like a barber can just take the hair that he/she cuts from his/her clients) and use it in some way without permission from the owner of the specimen / sample. Just like some barbers sell excess hair from their clients to make wigs, some doctors or hospitals can sell blood, saliva, DNA or amputated limbs for different biomedical reasons and not be legally required to ask the patient for his or her permission. . I have heard about some occasions in which an amputee has arranged to take his/her limb home with him/her, but in general that does not just automatically happen. (On one occasion my sister was not allowed to take her own tooth with her when it was taken out and on another occasion with a different dentist, she was).. . Does anyone know about this? Can any doctor or hospital prevent a patient from deciding what will be done with his/her medical samples or specimen(s)? Do doctors/hospitals have an automatic or legal right to keep/throw away/sell/re-use specimens of patients without patients' permission or knowledge? Would a doctor or hospital have to tell a patient if the patient's samples or specimens are going to be somehow re-used or sold ?

Some company's don't even send out rejection letters so atleast they've been kind enough to let you know so you can keep searching :). . It's hard trying to get a job at the moment, lots of people are competing for very few jobs.. . I hope your luck changes :)
