Oh darling you are in for it. :-) I appreciate your tenacity and go getter attitude, but you will need some serious help here. Alot of these things are not stuff you can mess with, they need to be done to proper protocol for the State the business is in and the Federal gov't. . First off, what kind of business is it? Are they filing as an LLC, S Corp, or partnership? You will have to start filing Sales and Use Tax returns for sales to non-exempt organizations. You will have to send all customers a request for Tax Exempt status. Once you receive it back you will know if you can charge them tax or not. In regards to if the company you work for is Tax Exempt, you will have to ask them if they requested Tax Expempt status, and if so where is the letter from the state saying that. . You will need an accounting program, there is no way around that. You can get a basic package at Best Buy for like $45 dollars. If you want to make a good impression and do an excellent job then go buy it yourself and it will walk you through a set-up process. If you cant do that, then start creating a bunch of excel spreadsheets and utilizing excel to its full capability. Use Word/Excel to create some template documents. You can get some standard ones on the Microsoft Office website as well. . I work with alot of small business setting up there accounting procedures, so if you need help try messanging me. Good luck to you..

You can go to your local court house and they will have all the information that you need in a packet form or you can contact a local law school for that information.

Your brother had the POA and transferred the property in his name. Now he will be considered as the owner of the property. The will comes into affect after the death of the concerned person. So, if someone changes the name on the property deed with the POA, then the will may not hold any value. However, as your parents are deceased now, he cannot use the POA for any other purpose. However, if you feel that some kind of fraud has taken place, then you can definitely consult an attorney.
