  • MISSION STATEMENT

    ????????? A man lies in a ditch, unable to rise on his own and at the mercy of others wishing to do him harm.? Hundreds pass by; including those whom the man believed his closest friends, failing to offer aid until finally. . . the Good Samaritan arrives.

    ???? ??????? It is not until one is able to identify with the man in the ditch that he comes to truly value the strength received from the Good Samaritan.?

    ??????????? Therefore, we at The Bassett Firm adopt this as our Mission Statement:

    ??????????? To worry about our clients' cases so that they do not have to;

    ??????????? To counsel our clients in ways that best benefit them, even at our own expense;

    ??????????? To listen to our clients;

    ??????????? To strive to not only meet but exceed our clients' expectations;

    ??????????? To participate professionally in an often unprofessional arena;

    ??????????? To be grateful for all that we have by giving back to the community;? and,

    ??????????? To show our appreciation for those whose blood, sweat and tears go in to carrying out this Mission.

My husband has been active duty for over 20 years, he has a 14 year old son whom he gained "Joint Legal Custody/ Primary residential custody" in sept of 09 . His son has had major issues dealing with his bio mother ( not going into detail due to privacy of a minor child), my step son is 14 and states he wants no contact with bio mother at all due to certain reasons. Bio mother constantly says that he has "aspergers syndrome " , she had him diagnosed with it when he was 10 ( she did the eval and talked with the psychologist not the child) . We have had it ruled out and have it documented by a Psychologist, Psychiatrist, social worker, and counselor. Also have documentation from teachers ect.. Bio mother will not stop telling people he has aspergers syndrome( a type of autism), due to him not wanting contact with her she wrote to the new military post we recently moved to, she wrote to some star general and he tossed it to his col to handle. Bio mother told them that my husband ran off with her son and her son has aspergers syndrome.. the col kept harassing my husband ( she has no authority over him due to the fact the people he is with is a separate entity from the post) She did not go to his command to notify them for them to handle. My husband notified them and then went to JAG. The JAG officer sent a letter that my husband did not give permission for all of what he wrote in it to my husbands ex wife. The courts have all of our new information and we also sent it to bio mother , however she claims we did not . The JAG attorney gave her all of our information again.. instead of letting her know to just check with her local courts... My question finally is :. Did the JAG attorney have the right under military Regs to contact my husbands ex spouse in this matter when it was not a military matter and my husband showed legal documents and proof that his ex wife was telling lies to try and harm his Carree? Did the JAG officer have the right to give my husbands ex all of our information again when we showed proof we mailed it to her and the courts? Did the Jag attorney have any legal right to get involved in this at all?? any help would be great.. I am thinking of contacting someone above this officer on this issue because I believe the JAG attorney over steeped his boundaries and got involved when he was not allowed to. My husband had hard copy proof that the ex was wrong and that he was not doing anything illegal. my husband even provided medical / mental health documents to back up why his 14 year old son didn't want contact with his bio mother at this time.. Thank you for reading my very long explanation..

If that's the case here, you probably do not have recourse. However, if the real estate company was representing a foreclosing bank and not the trustee, you may have a claim for specific performance. It sounds to me, however, that the trustee retained the property for the benefit of the bankrupt estate.

A Trust really protects the heirs, not the seniors although they pay for it, but it makes for good financial estate planning and protecting your legacy if that is important to you. It helps the heirs avoid probate

I can't find all those nice looking design templates from Microsoft PowerPoint 2007. Instead I only got plain and lame-looking themes. Where the he*l can I find those beautiful themes and templates? The one I remembered was a picture of an old book with a military medal lying on the table.. Last time PowerPoint from the 90s is easier to use, and find things.. I've explored the whole PowerPoint and found no design templates. If someone is kind enough to direct me, idiot-proof way..
