Should I include a Cover Letter with my Resume?

Can I change my middle name when I get married?

For my own query letters, they don't follow the 3-paragraph or 250 word "rule" and I double space and indent each paragraph (some say you shouldn't, some say you should). I use a readable font-face and a readable font-size. Again, your formatting (unless it makes your query unreadable) won't get you rejected, so it's not something worth stressing over.

Being a name person, it would bother me a lot. Especially if they changed the family name part. If they changed to going by their middle name or chose a different nickname, though, I'd be okay with that. So I wouldn't mind if my daughter Callie Jean started going by CJ or Jean, but if she changed it to Nevaeh or something, I would feel really bad. Not mad at her (at least, not much), but I'd worry I'd been a bad parent somehow, like she's turning her back on our family and on me.

I have a BA in English with a minor in Business Administration and a law degree. I went heavy on the accounting and business classes in college and had ethics, business entity finance, federal income tax, estate and gift tax, business org, business planning and trusts and estates in law school How do I get my transcripts evaluated to find out if I need more accounting or business classes?.

I am currently in the same situation. I am traveling to australia and my names do not match on my passport and my greencard. The embassy told me it is fine as long as I have my greencard, marriage certificate and any other proof of name change. I will probably carry my birth certificut also... I am nervous of this, so have asked many times and have even had my husband ask. They said I may get pulled aside just to clarify documentation. Good luck.
